Surabaya, May 5, 2026 — The Indonesian Feedmills Association (GPMT) held an Extraordinary Congress (KLB) on May 5, 2026, in Surabaya, East Java, following the resignation of its President, Desianto Budi Utomo, which was submitted on March 18, 2026, due to health reasons.
Through the KLB forum, conducted based on deliberation and consensus in accordance with the organization’s Articles of Association and Bylaws, Tevi Melviana was elected as the new President of GPMT. Previously, Tevi served as a Chairman within GPMT.
This leadership change is part of the organization’s continuity, while maintaining leadership stability. With Tevi’s appointment as President, one of the Chairman positions in the management structure is now held by Wesly Manullang, as GPMT adopts a collective collegial system. Therefore, the composition of GPMT’s Core Management Board, consisting of 1 Chairman and 4 Chairmen through 2028, is as follows:
President : Tevi Melviana
Chairman : Johan
Chairman : Prasetyo
Chairman : Wesly Manullang
Chairman : Deny Mulyono
GPMT emphasizes that the organization operates based on collective and collegial leadership principles, where every strategic decision is made through deliberation and becomes the shared responsibility of the entire board.
“The continuity of this leadership reflects the organization’s solidity as well as GPMT’s commitment to maintaining stability and the strategic direction of the national feed industry,” said GPMT Secretary General and Chair of the 2026 KLB Organizing Committee, Yetti Liza.
GPMT expresses its highest appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Desianto Budi Utomo for his dedication and contributions during his tenure as President, particularly in strengthening the role of the feed industry as one of the pillars of national food security.
With sustainable leadership in place, GPMT will continue to implement various strategic programs, including strengthening industry competitiveness, improving production quality and standards, and actively collaborating with the government and all stakeholders.
In her remarks as the newly elected President, Tevi stated, “GPMT will continue to serve as a strategic partner in advancing a sustainable and competitive feed industry.”
