The Indonesian Feedmills Association (GPMT) Learn Customs Provisions
The Indonesian Feedmills Association (GPMT) which is a forum for Animal feed companies in Indonesia increases the business potential of its members by learning about customs and excise. The organization which was established on October 30, 1976 also visited the Tanjung Emas Customs Office, Semarang City, Central Java, Thursday (08/02/2018).
"Our visit here intends to meet and introduce GPMT as an animal feed company organization in Indonesia," said GPMT Head of Chairman Desianto B. Utomo as quoted by Antara News Agency on Monday (08/06/2018).
Desianto's visit with other GPMT representatives, such as GPMT Chair Johan and GPMT Treasurer Achmad Razak, was welcomed by the Head of Information and Information Services Section Heru Purwedi Sembiring along with section heads and document examiner functional officials (PFPD) located in the Meeting Room of the Head of Customs Office.
As a national organization, added Desianto, GPMT has many members of companies that carry out raw material import activities and some of them carry out import activities at Tanjung Emas Port which is the Tanjung Emas Customs Supervision area.
Heru Purwedi Sembiring, Head of Information Services and Counseling Section, appreciated the visit of GPMT representatives and hoped that the meeting could bridge the companies that are members of GPMT to get information about various regulations in Customs, so that business activities can run smoothly.
