The congress was held from 12 to 14 March 2020, in the Kertanegara Hall of the Singhasari Resort, Batu City, with the theme "Strengthening the role of GPMT, as a strategic partner of the government, breeders and cultivators in the industrial era 4.0".
The chairman of the congress, Edi Suryanto, said that Batu was chosen as the venue for the congress, because the air was cold.

Hopefully, it will produce a cool decision, with a cool head, not hot like Susana in Surabaya. Previously, this congress was also held in Bogor, West Java.

Edi added, in every congress the principle is the same, namely the election of new chairpersons and administrators, but the hope is to bring forth new programs, and strategic issues, in the field of animal husbandry, nationally.

GPMT itself is very supportive of the technology available to farmers, to always develop.

In addition, it also helps minimize the problems that occur, in livestock entrepreneurs. "With the government, we carry out what the government has proclaimed, a permit to feed is also carried out" he explained.
